Most existing enterprises face a series of problems such as insufficient equipment selection, unstable synthesis processes, and lack of breakthroughs in synthesis technology. Even most enterprises do not have their own styrene butadiene latex synthesis equipment and can only purchase non MBS specific styrene butadiene latex for MBS production, and the quality of their products can be imagined. Most of the products introduced to the market rely on price advantages and are applied to PVC products that do not require high product quality. In the high-end market, the market share is relatively small and has not yet formed an impact on foreign companies. It is expected that the import volume in 2006 will be between 50000 and 60000 tons, accounting for over 70% of the total demand.

Although MBS has been listed as a national science and technology research project multiple times, it has not yet achieved significant breakthroughs. It is still industry research institutions conducting independent experiments and seeking breakthroughs, but this research and development model can be considered relatively amateur compared to foreign group and large-scale scientific research teams.
3. The domestic impact resistant ACR and processing aid ACR are at the same level as foreign products, but due to the price constraints of CPE, it is difficult to promote them. Going global and competing with foreign products for the international market will be a good choice, but the single product and poor stability will be an urgent problem that industry insiders need to solve.
